I can remember scouting this property right before the holidays—it was cold and horrible! The lobby was underway but not quite there, the elevator looked downright disgusting, the hallways reeked of smoke, and the rooms were dated. So of course, I wanted to enhance the guests’ entire experience from start to finish, lobby to guest room. And lo and behold, we created my most favorite guest space designed for the show! It was soothing, peaceful, and fresh—all great things to find upon check-in. Modern History provided stunning furniture that really made the room look beautiful. I Wilbur Witt and his team from Witt General Contractors worked hard, didn’t mind the crazy long hours, and did amazing work all with a great attitude. You can’t ask for more.
